昌化雞血石

印石之雞血石全世界目前只有兩個產地昌化與巴林，且均被列為中國十大國石；比較好的雞血石價位與半寶石相近，如2.5＊2.5＊12 cm的頂級方章價值可能超過臺幣百萬，超越黃金若干倍，在印石中僅次於田黃。
　　高檔印石相繼絕產，讓老師父無石可以刻，這是讓高檔印石之原石上漲的第一個動力；第二個動力是絕產後，大家會問她們原來的樣子？第三個動力，是 大家發現原石很少，變成搶破頭。當然原石也是分等級的，上面這件原石也只是教學用，有部分是凍地、軟地，而較多為硬地〈硬度達到７且十分強靭〉，最多是母 岩。如果整塊是硬地就不能稱為雞血石，而也沒有多大價值了。
